Alltech began in the mid-1980s, developing a bespoke multi-currency, multi-company accounting system for a Middle Eastern international trading firm at a time when few commercial solutions were available.

Following this, Alltech supported a family-owned retail fashion business, providing computer and management services. The retail business participated in the Miss England competition and was awarded the trophy for the License Holder of the Year with Alltech contributing graphics and event support.
